Laura Cleary, MD, FAAD

Laura Cleary, MD, FAAD, grew up in Kentucky and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Agricultural Biotechnology. She stayed at the University of Kentucky for medical school and graduated valedictorian of her medical school class and member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She then completed her internship in internal medicine in Nashville, TN followed by her dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Cleary obtained board certification through the American Board of Dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology in Chattanooga since 2018.
As a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Cleary has published articles in several medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has given oral presentations at both national and regional dermatology meetings. She is additionally a member of the Tennessee Medical Association and Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society and a board member of the Tennessee Dermatology Society.
Dr. Cleary specializes in general medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, a local radiation oncologist, and their three children.
